Beginning his career as a commercial artist/illustrator, Tony D’Amico has accumulated over 25 years of advertising and promotional experience, holding creative management positions in such companies as American Home Products, Playtex, and the Pepsi-Cola Company. He founded his own design firm Creative Alliance based in Southport CT, where under his direction, the agency won a number of awards for creative excellence. The client roster included, The Pepsi-Cola Company, AT&T, Tiffany & Company, ebay and the Guinness Importing Company for whom they created the “Win a Pub in Ireland” contest. Evolving into one of the top promotion and event marketing agencies in the US, he sold the company to the Publicis Group, an international advertising and media services conglomerate. 

Public recognition of his work has enabled Tony to focus solely on his career as a fine artist.  His drawings demonstrate a sensitive, skilled rendering style and his paintings strongly reflect a clear admiration for the sunlit palette of the early California impressionists.  Tony's art conveys his idealized vision of the subject matter with specific emphasis on landscape and architecture.

Over the past several years, Tony has studied with a number of nationally recognized artists such as David Dunlop, Scott Waddell, Gabor Svagrik, Chris Magadini, William P. Duffy and more recently, ongoing work with his good friend and noted artist, Donald Demers. He has won numerous awards and is well represented in municipal and private collections. He is a member of the Lyme Art Association, The Rowayton Arts Center and is an elected artist at the Mystic Art Center.
